Antonio Henrique Borges, known as "Antonio Henrique" was born in Terceira island Azores and married his elementary school sweetheart Maria das Merces who passed away on Christmas Day 2020.

Antonio worked for many years for the American Base in Lajes, Terceira in the office. His main responsibility was ordering plane and machinery parts. As part of his duties, he traveled many times to the United States and other countries and could not wait to immigrate to the United States. It was not until 1981 that he finally convinced his wife to move to the United States along with their 3 children. He worked for many years at Denison Laboratories where they manufactured all types of lotions and medications. After retiring he ended up working at the CVS warehouse in maintenance where he was loved by all co-workers. He was known for loving to “flirt” with the girls.

He leaves behind 2 daughters: Ana and "Tina" and a son "Tony Jr." as well as one granddaughter, Andrea, 4 grandsons: Andrew, Johnathan, Luis and Tommy and 3 great grandchildren. Also leaves behind daughter-in-law Diane and her sister Jodie and son-in-laws Rui and Bernardo who played a big part in taking care of him until his final days.

He will be missed by many. He had a sense of humor until his last days - always joking around with the aides and nurses.
He loved watching the bull flights on tv and the "novelas".

He passed away surrounded by family by his bedside who took care of him with great love.
